Ans: The functions of the Block Samiti are:

Ans: Women help in the working of local self-government by that they provide direction and set the pace of local development. They are able to monitor and ensure the implementation of developmental activities and administrative measures.

Ans: The differences between Municipal Corporations and Municipalities are that smaller cities that are less populated have Municipalities or Nagar Palika. Metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, etc which are densely populated have Municipal Corporations or Nagar Nigam.
6. Describe the functions of the Municipal Corporations.
Ans: The functions of the Municipal Corporations are that they provide public amenities to the people in urban.
7. How has the Hindu Succession Act 2005 helped in ending gender discrimination among Hindu women?
Ans: The Hindu Succession Act 2005 helped in ending gender discrimination by giving Hindu women the right to inherit property.
